TV Repairs cost as little as £70.00, plus parts, in home where possible.

Sadly, I know that hundreds of TV receivers and other allied equipment are dumped into landfill every day. Many of these could be repaired easily with the right knowledge and know-how. I see that as a great shame and a potential environmental disaster, which future generations of our children will have to deal with. Much of the problem has come from the fact that “Big Business” has become involved in the sale of consumer electronics, and is only interested in selling you a new machine, and in most cases is not geared up to provide any form of after sales service.

A myth has grown out of this, that TV sets are no longer worth repair. This is not true. We repair approximately 90 percent of all TV sets we encounter. The 10% that we cannot repair, we can usually re-cycle by either harvesting parts for future use, or using the services of a specialist waste recycling business who can recover most of the materials for future use. This ensures that the absolute minimum is put into landfill. This also applies to most other consumer electronics. We service good quality audio and digital recorders to name but a few.

I share all fault information with thousands of other television engineers around the world, and I have access to massive databases and specialist component suppliers, to maximise the chances of an economical, successful repair. I also offer a six month minimum warranty on all repair work. All work is carried out to exacting safety standards (BS 415), using modern test equipment.
