How we use your data.  We care about your safety in every respect.

The use of my website requires cookies. These are small pieces of data exchanged with your browser which enables my website to function correctly and to operate within the regulations known as (GDPR or general data protection regulations) Please Note: my business does not participate in any personal marketing where your data is used or exchanged with anyone.

When you use my website, or when you contact me via email, or telephone you will automatically be giving your consent for me to use some of your personal information to be able to provide you with a service, this will be your name, contact address, phone number and your email. I will be storing your personal information on various devices that enable me to look after you as a customer. That may also be on a both a physical and an electronic diary and on a mobile device.

I am also required to retain information on my accounting system for tax purposes HMRC. However please be assured that  I do not use your data for any other purpose other than stated above. I use the Quick books accounting system, which I am advised is highly encrypted and compliant with data security. The only other person that can view my data is my accountant who is also the administrator and provider of the accounting system. He is also GDPR compliant.

Your Rights Explained.

If you use our business and we bill you for work carried out, we will store your data for our records for 4 years minimum for tax purposes. I have been advised by the ICO that this is a lawful reason to retain data.

You do however have the right under GDPR to be lost, your details erased from our system. For this to be done you would need to submit a request in writing to my trading address.

Terms & Conditions

As a business we offer a one-year warranty on all install or repair work & 3 months on electronic repairs unless otherwise stated. This includes any parts supplied by us during our visit. We do not offer any form of credit to customers, accounts are payable by return if invoiced and if collected at the time of repair, a sales receipt will be issued within a short while. We accept Cash, payment by card and bank transfer. Kindly Note: We do not accept Cheques. We can provide estimates for most work, but we do not supply written quotes for what we consider small domestic jobs.
