Business History
Gilzean Electronics was started in early 2004 by Ivan Gilzean an expert in consumer electronics and brown goods servicing with almost 40 years “hands on experience of the trade”. In addition to being a qualified television engineer
I also have many years of experience of the aerial and satellite Industry having worked on aerials throughout my career and satellite systems since the beginning of analogue transmissions in the mid 1980’s I am also a veteran radio amateur, callsign G8ZRD of some 30 years. For several years during the 80’s I was employed as a tutor for the radio amateurs exam at local colleges and gained much valuable experience as a result.
More recently l have undergone further training and assessment to obtain my level 2 NVQ City & Guilds (signal reception pathways) which allowed me to become a registered digital installer RDI. I take great pride in all of my work and aim to give all of my many customers the best service at the best possible price without compromising on quality.
During the last six years I have built up a good reputation in the trade for quality work at a fair price. I use only the best available spares and quality cables and aerial equipment. Backed up by some of the very best state of the art test equipment to ensure that you get the best possible service.
