 I am a specialist in home electronic servicing, being a qualified & practicing television TV  engineer, ERM. City & Guilds London Institute

with almost forty years experience of the trade.  Uniquely I am also a fully qualified and experienced aerial installer and an independent expert on all types of satellite installation including both Sky® ,Freesat® and European multi satellite motorised systems.  I am also happy to install private satellite links for business use.

I hold a licence under the registered digital installer scheme Number 18264984  as a result I am licensed to use the government’s “digital tick logo” and the “digit-al”man in my advertising see www.rdi-lb.co.uk.  For your complete reassurance I am also a plus member of the Confederation of aerial Industries CAI Number C1635.   I also hold both public liability insurance and specialist contractors insurance in accordance with the membership requirements of both the confederation of aerial industries and the registered digital installer licensing body.

What does all this mean?. Well it means that I am in a unique position to offer my customers a complete home electronics service from a simple television, video or audio repair, to the installation home cinema, multi point domestic distribution systems,aerial and satellite installation etc, to an industry recognised standard.  I still repair conventional CRT type televisions and in addition I also repair LCD television.  I hold several thousand small spare parts in stock for televisions and good stocks of satellite and aerial equipment.

 I own some of the best, state of the art servicing and diagnostic tools to ensure that you receive the best possible service at a competitive price.  I provide in home service if required for  televisions and video equipment.  In some cases repairs can be completed at your home keeping the price to a minimum.   If not I collect and repair your equipment in my private workshop.  I charge a small deposit £25.00 to cover the cost of collection-delivery & diagnostic work.  All repairs are covered by a minimum six month warranty.  

All aerial and satellite work carries a twelve month warranty subject to my written terms and conditions available elsewhere on this site.

When I carry out aerial installation work this is done to the strict standards and codes of practice,as laid down by the “CAI” “confederation of aerial industries”.  This includes work on ladders which is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety Executive code of practice for safe working at height as revised 2005.   This can sometimes mean a slight delay if weather conditions are bad at the time a job is booked.  This is to ensure that your work is carried out in a safe manner minimising the risks involved.

In addition to holding the correct insurance for my trade, I also have a criminal records CRB check.   All work on buildings is carried out in accordance with local planning regulations as regards the fitting of satellite dishes and aerials.   I also carry out work on listed buildings and can provide a full planning service if required.
